This Privacy Policy describes how Adrenyx ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the Adrenyx mobile application and website (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

2. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Account information: name (optional), nickname, email address, focus area, and authentication credentials.
Uploaded content: photos and short videos you submit as proof for completed challenges, along with optional captions and the challenge they relate to.
Usage data: challenges started, completed, streak history, login times, and basic device info (operating system, app version).
Communications: messages you send to support and your replies.

3. How we use your information

Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
Display your nickname, posts, and stats on the social feed and your profile.
Track streaks, completed challenges, and consistency metrics.
Send essential service messages (account, security, policy updates).
Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, and violations of our Terms of Service.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your uploaded media to train third-party models.

4. Storage and security

Data is stored on managed cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to a small set of authorized personnel and is logged. We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Uploaded media may be retained as long as it appears on your profile or the social feed; deleting a post removes the media from public view and queues it for deletion from our storage.

5. Third-party services

We use a small number of third-party providers to operate the Service, including cloud hosting, file storage, authentication, analytics, and crash reporting. These providers process data only on our instructions and under contractual confidentiality and security obligations. We do not share your uploads with advertising networks.

6. Cookies and similar technologies

The Adrenyx website uses a minimal set of cookies and local storage entries required for essential functionality (such as remembering your onboarding progress and preferences). We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

7. Your rights

You can request access to the personal data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request export of your data in a portable format, and request deletion of your account and associated data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@adrenyx.com.

8. Children

Adrenyx is not intended for users under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email where appropriate. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
